  • Abstract
    Facing challenges and increasing competition, small and medium manufacturing enterprise needs to strive for the market share. To deal with the environmental changes, manufacture companies should increase their organization´s ability, adaptability and learn to face challenges. Projects are always initiated to identify problems and to make improvement in the business procedure of a company. In a project, lessons are learnt which can be applied in another project for continuous project management improvement. The learning efficiency and the adaptation capability of an organization are critical in determining the success and sustainability of the organization in competitions. A case study of the implementation of the co-design model in a project on the development of an information system in a Chinese medicine manufacturing company is illustrated in this paper. The application of the co-design model for improving efficiency in project management is being discussed and illustrated.
