Abstract :
Active and reactive power flow is independent from each other in a power transmission network and that are controlled by different audit activities. Active power control is associated with frequency control and reactive power control is associated with voltage control. Therefore, active and reactive power controls to solve the problems in the various studies are undertaken. In this study, Adapazari / Gebze natural gas combined cycle power plants investigated the contribution of frequency control by taking the load and frequency control in natural gas plants. Studies during the consideration is given to the criteria defined by the Union for the Coordination of Transmission of Electricity (UCTE).
