  • Abstract
For the existing ATV motorcycle´s low grade ability and poor smoothness, the optimal design of the ATV motorcycle has been added corresponding constraints for grade ability and damping characteristic was conducted by Virtual Prototyping Technology in ADAMS. The results show that the grade ability improves from 30% to 60% after the parameter design for transmission ratio of gearbox at I gear. The root-mean-square value of the total weighted acceleration is reduced 15.96% by optimal design to damping property of front and back suspension at the 3-axial direction, it improves the smoothness and driving safety of automobiles, and for similar study provides a reference of study methods.
