  • Abstract
This detector is mainly used to detect the crack of shaft parts. Shaft parts will create cracks and expend increasingly while working under some conditions, and it will produce fatigue break and generate accidents if it attains its critical state. The structure analysis and pneumatic control technology of a new device had been introduced based on simulation technique. Its pneumatic and electric loop had been designed in the software of Fluid SIM to improve working efficiency and automation. Traditional control system, mainly depending on the experience or a sequence of CAD geometries which improved step by step, has been replaced. The time and unwanted venture to a lower level had been succeeded in reducing and the response results had been estimated. Some key points had been addressed on the realistic features of virtual design processes. The model of the eddy current detector developed was reliable and reasonable, which was a good example for designing other similar devices.
