Abstract
Based on the theory of multi-body system and the motion of CNC gear hobbing machine, a volumetric error model for NC gear hobbing machine has been built, and the tooth surface equation is established, which includes original position errors and motion errors. Thus a preferable method is provided for carrying out real-time measurement and compensation, and further studying the effects that error factor takes on gear machining.
