Abstract
This paper presents an high-gain antipodal linearly tapered slot antenna(LTSA) using substrate integrated waveguide(SIW) technique for Ku-band applications. The feeding structure is based on SIW structure which provides high Q-factors and allows planar printed circuit board fabrication process. Proposed antenna demonstrates wideband performance for frequency ranges from 13 GHz to over 17 GHz with high gain of 16 dBi and relatively low cross-polarization levels of less than -25 dB.
