  • Abstract
This paper describes a single-IF dual conversion receiver for 5-GHz Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11a standard is reported. In this proposed receiver, for low power consumption, RF front-end utilizes the dual conversion current-driven passive mixer with linear transconductor stage and low current consumption of the baseband analog is achieved by using the interleaved baseband analog filter-amplifier chain. The receiver is fabricated in 0.13 μm CMOS technology and RF front-end IIP3 of -20 dBm with a gain of 30.6 dB and noise figure of 7.1 dB with a receiver gain of 90.5 dB are obtained at 41 mW power consumption.
