Abstract :
A large number of distribution generators are interconnected into Nanjing distribution network in Fujian Power grid. The amplitude of voltage in this grid changes largely and frequently. In this paper, the voltage problem in Nanjing power grid is analyzed in BPA. And the feasibility of 10kV voltage regulator application in voltage control is verified. And set compared group, compare the difference effects between series capacitors, shunt reactors and the voltage regulator in solving the same voltage problem in Nanjing grid. And then the voltage control scheme by voltage regulator is given. In the final part, the collocating position and the capacity are given through simulation. The results calculated by simulation shows that the voltage regulator is effective voltage control means in power grid with distribution generators.
