Abstract :
Low voltage power distribution lines can be developed by the expansion of cities. If location of voltage drop and power outage in distribution networks can´t be identified quickly, it can cause high costs for utilization. Research and Development Unit of North Khorasan electric distribution company (NKEDC) has designed a system to perform identification of location of power outage rapidly. In this plan, voltage sensors place at the end of distribution lines and power outage location can be identified through monitoring in electric incidents center. As a result, operations teams will set out to the specified location quickly and solve problem. The difference between this project and previous projects is that the sensor locations in our project are at the end of distribution line. In this paper, we seek to present PO-VDAS with installed electronic sensors at the end of LV distribution.
