Abstract :
A combination of asymptotic approach and computational modeling is used for solution of problem to investigate the backscattering of several small particles embedded in fluid medium. The initial diffraction problem of wave scattering by many small particles is developed under the assumption ka ≪1, d ≫ a, where a is the size of the particles and d is the distance between the neighboring particles. On the wavelength one may have many small particles. Impedance boundary conditions are assumed on the boundaries of small particles. The results of numerical simulation show good agreement with the theory. A series of constructive conclusions on the basis of received numerical results open a way to engineering realization of measurement and search systems in the MEMS applications.
