Abstract :
In this paper, an efficient technique in two-dimensional multiport method for analysis of planar circuits is presented. This technique is applicable to configurations which have been analyzed by desegmentation method with specified boundary condition at the removed parts. Analysis of planar circuits is performed faster and more accurate using this technique, as a result of no discretizing the boundary. In addition, the proposed method is numerically stable. Substrate integrated waveguide as a planar circuit is analyzed by this technique, simulated results indicate a dramatic improvement of the proposed technique over conventional desegmentation method. This improvement has several features, such as higher accuracy, higher speed and less memory usage.
