Abstract
A hyperthermia simulation system has been developed for the prediction of specific absorption rate(SAR) distribution of object which irradiated by capacitive plate electrodes. A impedance method is used for numerical simulation. Moreover, a temperature distribution of a phantom which irradiated by a 13.56 MHz hyperthermia system is measured by the use of a thermometry system. Results show that there are no significant difference between measured and estimated SAR distribution in this study.
