Abstract :
In Hyperthermia, it is common to use heating device and temperature measurement device separately. Also, we hope to develop a non-invasive method for measuring temperature to soften patients´ pain. In this paper, we proposed a semi-cylindrical microstrip applicator which put together both heating and temperature measurement devices. Non-invasive temperature measurement method makes use of the linearity of transmission coefficients. Moreover, since the applicator is miniaturized, it becomes very useful to handle.
