Abstract
Recent multichannel surface EMG measurement raises a problem regarding surface electrode filtering with respect to the innervation zones. We mathematically describe the influence of an innervation zone on the electrical manifestations. The inverse filtering function allows us to compensate for distorted surface EMG signals.
