Abstract
The motion quality of the shell rowing athletes has a heavy effect on the competitive scores. According to the features of the sequential images of the shell rowing, a fast matching algorithm for automatic tracking the athletic joints is realized. This approach is on the basis of the linear model proposed by Saul Moskowitz and the Sequential Similar Detective Algorithm (SSDA) proposed by Barnea and Silivernman. The Walsh function system is used in this paper. Some useful experiment results are obtained.
