Abstract
A cmmon technique for image reconstruction in CT and MR tomography is so called Back Projection (BP) algorithm. The weighting function used in first step of this algorithm can be viewed in space domain as a zerophase FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filter, or as realization an idealized magnitude shape (e.g. |ω|). Another realization of |ω| — filters will be presented, with better approximation near the low frequencies.
