Abstract
Cross-polarization characteristics of spiraphase-type reflectarrays with elements based on ring slot with loaded stubs were analysed. Then the initial geometry of the element was modified in order to suppress the cross-polarization at large scanning angles. As a result, an additional suppression of 8dB was obtained for the reflection elevation angle equal to 31.5° at the frequency of 30 GHz.
