Abstract :
This paper is concerned with clarifying the influence of the human body on the radio wave propagation of a wearable device for on-body wireless communications. We have derived the transmission coefficients analytically, and have evaluated in terms of the bit error rate, digital communications using the UWB band and the ISM band of 915 MHz.
