Abstract :
This paper presents a reduced size dual-band quadifilar helix antenna using strip meandered and folded technique to obtain the Meandered Folded PQHA (called MF-PQHA). Using these techniques, the axial length of a conventional Printed Quadrifilar Helix Antenna is reduced by 60%. It creates also the dual frequency resonance. In addition, the gain remains positive at these two bands with a large beam width and a good circular polarization.
