Abstract :
Molecular dynamics (MD) simulations of a zwitterionic (neutral) micelle in water with an encapsulated organic solute, have been performed in order to evaluate the influence of static and pulsed electric fields on such molecular system: in particular it is shown that the application of an electric field perturbation, determines a significant variation in both water density profile and organic solute diffusion from micelle core to external aqueous environment.
