Abstract :
This paper presents a novel antenna design for WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) systems. For a 10 dB return loss, the antenna covers the whole ranges of frequency bands of the WLAN systems which are 2.4 - 2.485 GHz ISM band and 5.15 - 5.825 GHz UNII band. Also, the antenna has both vertical and horizontal polarisations for each operating frequency band.
