Abstract :
This work describes new procedures for the use of fast Specific Absorption Rate measurements in upcoming releases of international measurement standards. It also demonstrates the benefits of using fast SAR methods to supplement full SAR measurements using three measurement systems. The results show that relative SAR measurement differences are within ±0.3 dB. Improvements in the measurement time of up to 80% were achieved with the use of fast SAR methods.
