Abstract :
We present here a Finite Element Method devoted to the simulation of band diagrams of 3D periodic structures of arbitrary geometry. The developed numerical method is used to extract the eigenmodes of EBG structures, and thus to establish their frequency band gaps. A focus is given on the simulation parameters.
