Abstract :
In this paper, a complete parameterization for M-band orthogonal symmetric wavelet filter banks is provided based on orthogonal matrix and paraunitary linear factors. The factorization presented in this paper can be used for finding M-band orthogonal symmetric wavelet matrix whether it is with given scaling low-pass filter banks or not. At last some examples for 4-band orthogonal symmetric wavelet matrix are constructed.
