Abstract
Power and performance coordination on shared infrastructures is a critical issue due to system dynamics. Existing work mostly focused on either aspect or relied on models on specific workload. This paper proposes a feedback control based coordination system that provides guarantees on both power consumption and performance service-level agreements in virtualized environments. Evaluation results demonstrate that it can achieve various levels of tradeoff in a flexible way while maintaining prediction accuracy.
