  • Abstract
    The paper presents a coding technique to improve signal to noise ratio (SNR) in an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). The notion lies in combining Complementary Correlation Codes and Simplex codes to achieve higher gains than conventionalcoding techniques. Simulative results show significant SNR enhancement and are in excellent agreement with theoretical equations.
