Clustering of European countries by their readiness for effective utilization of ICT

This paper offers brief view into research of ICT utilization and benefits of its usage. Furthermore, the research of World Economic Forum, concerning NRI (Network Readiness Index), is agitated and by virtue of that clustering of European countries is conducted. Statistical analysis for several groups of variables that affect the readiness of the country´s ICT acceptance and its effective usage has been conducted, such as business environment, readiness and use, and based on them carried out the clustering of countries. The results show a relationship between the levels of development of countries and their readiness for effective use of ICT. Furthermore, analysis of variance of clusters obtained by k-means method revealed degree of relevance for observed variables concerning their influence on effective utilization of ICT.
