  • Abstract
    Oxygen production has closely relationship with following-procedure, oxygen consumption in following-procedure has the characteristics of huge consumption, big-range change and closely link with produce rhythm in following-procedure. It´s intermittence load of oxygen consumption, so oxygen production presents two kinds of phenomena, such as oxygen diffusing or short supply frequently. The former is unfavorable to saving energy and reducing the cost and economical operation index of oxygen production, the latter affects following-procedure production, production organization and economic benefits of whole following-production line even. The process of air separation unit has the characteristics of many types of equipment, long flow, and strong relativity and complicates structures. Therefore automatic variable-loading operation has the characteristics of many control points, strong coupling in relevant factors, great difficult in operation and serious interference among course variables. A control strategy to achieve the goal of automatic variable-loading for the control limits in the variable-loading process of air separation unit was proposed on the basis of introduction of automatic variable-loading technology. The technology structure, technological control schemes, control principle and related algorithm for the control strategy were described in detail. The application shows its effectiveness, it can realize the automatic variable-loading of air separation unit.
