Abstract :
For a new four-dimensional piecewise MLS chaotic system, a synchronization control method special adaptive to piecewise chaotic systems is proposed in this paper. Based on the direct-design idea, this method utilizes effectively the structure characteristics of piecewise chaotic systems and simplifies the deducing problem of piecewise-function in error systems. It provides a new thought for controlling piecewise chaotic systems. The synchronization controllers have simple structures and Lyapunov functions need not to be deduced in design process. This method is also useful for a class of piecewise chaotic systems, such as piecewise Lü chaotic system. The numerical simulations of MLS and piecewise Lü chaotic systems also show the validity of the proposed method.
