Abstract
Uncertain nonlinear fuzzy systems with general controller, such as the feedback controller, can not maintain the stability when disturbances occur. In actual applications, however, both the disturbance and uncertainty frequently exist and make the system unstable. This paper aims to address this problem by the introduction of the piecewise non-fragile H∞ robust controller, in which parameters are obtained by using the piecewise Lyapunov function theory and Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). The proposed controller, for all admissible uncertainties, can ensure the asymptotically stability and the H∞ performance for the resulting closed-loop systems. Finally, we give an illustrative example to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
