Abstract
Stability and stabilization of switched linear systems were investigated based on sliding-mode control. First the switched system was changed into a T-S fuzzy system, which means the system was switched under a fuzzy strategy. Then a sliding surface and variable structure control law was designed for the T-S fuzzy system. Further the system was proved to be able to reach the sliding surface and the state of the system on it was asymptotically stable. Simulations show that the presented method is simple and effective.
