Abstract
The vibration signals of wind turbine gearbox contain various running status information, the analysis to which is a general method to detect the defection in gearbox. In this paper, we introduce the gearbox of wind turbine Micon 750kW, and analyze the characteristic of gearbox structure and the corresponding vibration signals. The advantage of cepstrum extracting the sideband modulation frequencies from complicated aliasing signals is studied, and the gearbox vibration signals are analyzed using cepstrum to extract the rotational frequency which disappears in power-density spectrum. The analysis results demonstrate that the cepstrum can detect the fault characteristic effectively in wind turbine gearbox.
