  • Abstract
As the overall sensitivity of optical receivers was impacted by various parameters, for an optical receiver design, in order to accurately predict the performance, it is necessary to study the sensitivity. The performance optical receiver can be accurately predicted by the noise analysis of each part of the optical receiver and how the amplitude and timing error sources affect the receiver bit error rate. The theoretical analysis and digital simulation of approximate error are also developed sufficiently. The phase clocked detection method used in the special system is described. The detailed analysis and design of the subject is valuable for solving a great deal of problems, such as signal detection, off keying signal digital receiver design, wireless Optical receiver design, et al.
