Abstract :
This work investigates the analysis methods of the main load of the wind turbine blade under the blade coordinate. By simulating the different scenarios, such as the wind statuses, the air densities and gravity constants, using the FAST simulation commercial software, the loads of the wind turbine are compared. Based on the comparison, this paper point out the option about the torque in the blade root. The analysis results show that the torque of the blade is heavily affected by the centrifugal and aerodynamic forces, which can not be neglected. Furthermore, the effect of gravity on torque is comparatively small. However, this still needs to be further investigated.
