Abstract :
The authors suggest a theoretical model of the carbon nanostructure field emission in presence of the size quantization. This model reveals a resonance transmission phenomenon and the emission current enhancement for resonance values of energy. The small electron mass plays, in our interpretation, a role of the field-enhancement factor.
