  • Abstract
After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of photoelectric tracking system with horizontal gimbal and X-Y double-axis gimbal, a vertex tracking method based on airborne photoelectric equipment has been presented. The method, which combines advantages of horizontal gimbal and X-Y double-axis gimbal, can effectively track target in the blind area. experiments show that the tracking method is simple, tracking accuracy is 3´, meet the technical requirements.
