Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate a frequency-resolved optical gating (FROG) system in pulse characterization at 1.55 μm by using cross-phase modulation (XPM) in highly nonlinear dispersion-shifted fiber (HNL-DSF), with over 6-times sensitivity improvement.
