  • Abstract
    Safety problems of textile and apparel have been a major concern of governments and consumers. Recent studies on safety supervision of textile and apparel have mainly focused on product defects and quality control, and application of risk analysis theory to textile and apparel is still at the stage of exploration. In this paper, T-S fuzzy neural network is used to establish a safety risk evaluation model of textile and apparel. With the help of this model, prominent risk factors which affect safety state of textile and apparel can be obtained; safety level in a certain period of time can be computed. Accordingly, safety risk of textile and apparel can be monitored dynamically in time. The case study shows that the risk assessment method has good effectiveness.
