Abstract :
Plant location decision is a crucial problem in the optimization and design of supply chain. Nowadays competitions between single companies have changed to the competitions between supply chains, so in plant location decision the viewpoint should be extended from the plant itself to entire supply chain. This paper presents a new web-based decision support system for plant location that integrate the plant location factors of any possible alternative plant locations and the different plant location decision methods and models from the view of entire supply chain. By applying the new system to a plant location decision shows that this system can help the decision of right plant location and the saving of decision time.
