Abstract :
The paper´s aim consists on achieving the control of a HESG for a wind turbine application. This machine has an auxiliary power source that offers the possibility to control the excitation flux and thus the machine´s rotation speed. It makes it possible to achieve a variable speed wind turbine that properly operates according to a MPPT algorithm.
