  • Abstract
    Taking one 300 MW direct air-cooled unit as an example. The influence of installing windproof net down along windbreak on the heat exchange performance of the air-cooled island was numerically simulated using commercial software FLUENT, and analyzed the effect of different permeable rate and height of windproof net on the heat exchange efficiency. Results show that air flow and heat exchange of air-cooled unit increased significantly after installation of windproof net, and the higher wind speed is, the greater antiwind effect is, thus providing a theoretical basis for direct air-cooled units of the safe operation and economic analysis.
