Abstract :
SmartCrown system is an effective method for controlling the flatness and profile of strip. The key issue in the SmartCrown system is the design of the roll profile. In this paper, a design method of SmartCrown roll profile is obtained The crown ratio is considered as the criteria of design firstly to control higher-order buckle. Through the Taylor equation, the relationship between SmartCrown and CVCplus can be obtained.
