  • Abstract
The friction and wear properties of Sic Ceramics/ 45 Steel under the condition of alternating vibration load are researched on the friction and wear tester by ring-block means of contact, which is compared at the same friction power under the condition of static load. And The friction and wear properties is compared at different frequency. The results of test show: the friction coefficient, wear quantity is larger than the wear rate at static load; with frequency increasing the friction coefficient and wear volume increase too, but the extent of wear quantity increasing is smaller; at the lower frequency, the wear is mainly abrasive wear with less fatigue loss and micro-crack; at the higher frequency the wear turns to be dominated by fatigue flaking with less cracks and furrows.
