  • Abstract
This paper mainly introduces the computer aided system designed for Tibetan dialect phonological analysis based on Tibetan dialect questionnaire, containing three modules: database, basic function and extending function. Database includes the questionnaires and the vocabulary library; basic function refers to initial-final generation, tone extraction, text-speech conversion and homonym table; and extending function consists of Tibetan word segmentation, Latin transcription, sequencing and data processing and others. The system construction designed not only greatly contributes to improve the theoretical levels of Tibetan studying, but also holds important academic meanings and broad applicative values in the research fields relating to linguistics history studying, Tibetan evolution research, dialect sound-changing, Tibetan information processing, etc.
