Abstract :
Two-sided assembly lines are typically found in assembling large-sized high-volume products. One position of the two-sided assembly line usually has more than two parallel stations work simultaneously. Less attention has been paid to solving this problem. This paper researches the two-sided with multi-parallel stations assembly line balancing problem, and proposes a heuristic algorithm to solve the problem.
