  • Abstract
    This paper presents a proposed scheme to enhance the performance of FM-QCSK chaotic communication system. The performance enhancement includes improving the BER of FM-QCSK in AWGN and multipath channels as well as increasing the data rate. The idea of the proposed scheme is based on transmitting multi information-bearing chips using one reference chaotic chip. The results show that the proposed scheme have achieved more than 3 dB and 5 dB gains in SNR for AWGN and Rayleigh multipath fading channels respectively at BER=10-3 over the conventional one. The theoretical expression of BER in AWGN channel has also derived for the proposed scheme.
