Abstract
The microwave radiation from mobile base stations in the local area of Coburg, Nuremberg, Wüzburg, Frankfurt and other cities in Germany is investigated and the measured data is analyzed and compared with that measured in some cities in China. In Germany, mobile base stations are located significantly more sparse than in China and the radiation energy of a single base station is significantly lower as well. Base station antennas are generally housing built and rarely installed on an independent tower in Germany, while in China base station tower can be seen anywhere. Another phenomenon is that in Germany mobile phones are not so extensively and frequently used as in China. So in Germany the pressure of environmental pollution is less than China.
