Monitoring and controlling petrochemicals with wireless sensor networks

This paper presents an approach of managing and monitoring for safety system composed by wireless sensor networks. It is designed based on the existing data and devices of detecting and control system of petrochemical enterprise. In the implementation, the greatest challenge is the constraint on energy of the wireless sensor networks. And also there are “holes” hardly to get information of their location and avoid for actual geographical environments. This paper proposes a method to solve the above issues.
