Abstract :
A microstrip antenna array fed by hybrid method, i.e. the coplanar microstrip series-fed linear patch arrays excited by waveguide slots coupling, is presented. The linear patch arrays conform to the surface of a cylinder. A novel dual slot electromagnetic coupling method is presented further to suppress its radiation to achieve good polarization purity. The array achieves perfect characteristics.
