  • Abstract
An ASR (Adaptive Sidelobe Reduction) and RD-RCFB (Rank Deficit Robust Capon Filter Bank) joint method is presented to suppress the clutters and their sidelobes of GPR images. The principle of the method is to apply the ASR to suppress the nearby clutters and sidelobes, than fine covariance can be estimated from the resultant image of high SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio), and to apply the RD-RCFB to suppress the globe clutters and sidelobes. By combining them together, a better clutter suppress effect without the weak targets elimination can be achieved.
